Rafael began his career in the private activity as a business advisor and litigator. He was a law professor at the National University of La Plata, where he obtained his law degree in 1987, and also at the Catholic University of La Plata.

In 2019, he obtained a Master's degree in Agribusiness from the Graduate School of the Faculty of Agronomy of the University of Buenos Aires.

He has focused his practice in the commercial and civil law areas, advising companies, organizations, family businesses, producers and industrialists in the agribusiness chains.

As a specialist in commercial law, he has acted in complex matters related to banking law, capital markets, bankruptcies, reorganization proceedings and restructuring processes. He moved his practice to the City of Buenos Aires in 2008, when he became a partner at Ferrari Abogados and in2020  he joined Naveira, Truffat, Martínez Abogados as a partner.

Author of various publications and presentations at academic and business conferences and seminars.
