Gustavo Naveira

Gustavo received his law degree from the University of Buenos Aires. He held various positions in the commercial courts of Buenos Aires, concluding his judicial career in 1986 as judge of Chamber B of the National Commercial Court of Appeals.

In 1994, together with Daniel Truffat, he founded “Naveira, Truffat & Asociados” law firm, with a focus on highly complex dispute resolutions (such as litigation, domestic and international arbitration, company law conflicts, bankruptcy proceedings) and legal assistance to businesses.

In 2006 he was one of the founding partners of NTMDALL, law firm of which he was a partner until 2019, when he refounded Naveira, Truffat, Martínez Abogados law firm, together with Daniel Truffat and Oscar Martínez.

In 1997 he was appointed Undersecretary of Justice of the Ministry of Justice of the Argentine Republic, and later, Secretary of Technical and Legislative Affairs of said Ministry, position that he held until December 1999. During such term, he sponsored several bills that became laws and was a member of numerous legislative commissions. He has published numerous works in his field of expertise.

Currently, he is a leading authority when it comes to participating as an expert in litigation under Argentine law in processes and arbitrations pending in the different districts of the United States.
