Daniel Truffat is a founding partner of Naveira, Truffat & Asociados (1995), NTMDALL (2006), and Naveira, Truffat, Martínez Abogados (2019). He has an expertise is in commercial litigation, with a focus on complex restructuring processes, reorganization proceedings, out-of-court preventive agreements, and corporate disputes. He began his career in the commercial courts of Buenos Aires and later joined Chehtman law firm. He also served as Cabinet Advisor at the Ministry of Justice of Argentina. Daniel holds a law degree with honors from the University of Buenos Aires (1984) and a Doctorate in Law and Social Sciences from the National University of Córdoba (2006). Daniel has been a professor at both public and private universities, he currently holds the chair in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella since 2020. He is the author of several books, over two hundred publications in his field all of which are frequently cited by the Argentinian courts and he has played a leading role in numerous high-profile insolvency and restructuring proceedings in Argentina.
