Ignacio Martínez-Serra

Ignacio Martínez-Serra specializes in corporate law, corporate governance, foreign investment, and the legal frameworks related to Fintech and Blockchain. He has extensive experience advising on corporate matters, including reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence processes, joint ventures, and investment strategies both in Argentina and for Argentine companies operating abroad. He also provides counsel on shareholder agreements and dispute resolution in corporate contexts. In the Fintech and Blockchain sectors, Mr. Martinez-Serra has developed deep expertise across various business models and regulatory frameworks, regularly engaging with Argentina’s Central Bank (BCRA), the National Securities Commission (CNV), and the Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF). He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, is pursuing a Master’s degree in Corporate Law from the same institution and has an LL.M. (Master of Laws) degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Law. Before joining NTMA, Mr. Martinez-Serra worked as an associate at Bruchou, Fernandez Madero & Lombardi and at Baker McKenzie (Buenos Aires office).
